'Ted has helped several companies get the word out about how their products can help patients. By painting personalize biographical portraits of patients Ted creates a visual narrative that allows the viewer to quickly get a sense of the patient's life, interests, and how their illness and treatments effects them.
Ted believes that symptoms can tell you about a moment in time while a painting can tell you about a patients lifetime and emotional state.
Ted has also been working with the NEXUS Summit for the past 3 years, a convention focused on building communication in interdisciplinary medical care. NEXUS and Ted worked together to bring patient observers to all events and workshops to make sure the realities of patient life are being addressed.
